Yoto Marketing Team:
We are a tight knit, but fast growing, team with experience across a wide range of sectors and disciplines. Some of us are generalists, and some specialists. We do most work in house, but also use agencies where needed. As a team, and also as a company, we are customer obsessed. Everyone in the team is passionate about building and nurturing our community.
The Yoto Marketing team is spread across the UK, US and France and we look after a lot including brand strategy, customer acquisition, retention, campaign development, copywriting, retail marketing, communications, social and community. We work closely with most other teams, but particularly our friends in the product, creative and content teams.
What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Head of Retention Marketing, and supporting global and market teams, means that no two days will be the same. The retention marketing team creates tools and strategies and provides support to local markets with the goal of increasing engagement and customer lifetime value. The following is a non-exhaustive list of the type of work you’ll find yourself doing in the role:
- Assist in the creation of retention marketing strategies
- Maintaining the customer data platform and assisting within ongoing development
- Working with markets, brand and creative teams to build customer communications across a variety of channels including email, in-app, push and direct mail
- Work closely with the product teams to ensure product update communications are planned and deployed
- Regular updates and maintenance of automated email campaigns
- Working with the product, data, acquisition and wider marketing teams to provide actionable analysis and recommendations from data
- Post campaign reporting
What you’ll bring:

- Hands-on and relevant experience brand or agency side
- Experience using and maintaining customer data platforms/email service providers/CRMs
- Organisational super powers
- A good head for data analysis
- Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
- A passion for audio content and technology
- Ability to think on your feet, and learn fast
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across markets
Bonus points for:
- HTML skills
- Copywriting abilities
- An understanding of marketing children’s products/marketing to parents

Salary: £27,000-£30,000, depending on experience
