The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to help develop and implement a communications strategy that raises our profile and drives in-bound commercial opportunities through ongoing campaign activity, targeted PR, and events. Working across Uniform Group, Continuous and Somewhere, you will help us maintain our profile as one of the top 50 creative businesses in the UK and drive growth in collaboration with our commercial teams.

You are a proactive go-getter who understands the importance of marketing communications. You’re highly organised, manage multiple work streams at the same time, and prioritise your work easily and efficiently.

You will be comfortable building short and long-term marketing plans, accommodating broad business goals, industry events, marketing milestones and other relevant activities that might inform the marketing calendar.

You are experienced in working across predominantly digital marketing channels, social media platforms, newsletters, blogs and video-sharing sites, and understand the challenges and opportunities they present.

You’ve got great ideas on how we can develop content to communicate clearly the wide skills, talent and work we produce, so existing and prospective brands are wowed by our expertise.

You’re a great team player, but can work autonomously, and you know how to champion the marketing function across the wider business, to ensure synergies and alignment with all activity.

You should have:

  • Strong previous experience working in an agency marketing role
  • An understanding of B2B marketing principles and strategies
  • An excellent track record of building relationships at a senior level
  • Track record of delivering successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and return on investment
  • Ability and ambition to grow a marketing function from ground level
  • Strong digital marketing skills, experienced in: social media and distribution tools, marketing automation, web content management and building a solid digital presence
  • Well proven in marketing communications and dealing with the press, media and agencies to maximise business exposure
  • Experience in working alongside business development professionals to generate leads through varied marketing activity
  • Excellent understanding of data and analytics to drive and adapt campaigns for success
  • A good network of industry and supplier contacts
  • A strong commercial understanding
  • An excellent understanding of advertising, marketing and business strategy

This is a hybrid role with ideally 2-3 days per week in our Liverpool studio, however, remote candidates with a strong track record will be considered.
