Job Description

We seek a passionate business-to-business (B2B) marketing and communications individual. You will be responsible for developing digital and traditional marketing materials to drive business growth and capitalize on opportunities to raise awareness about NuVenture and its family of emerging Managing General Agents (MGAs).

This is a growth-oriented opportunity, with a focus on collaborating with several marketing service providers such as website and content developers, designers, and other marketing vendors. You will work closely with internal and external marketing resources, and with subject-matter experts and business leaders, to develop and distribute positioning assets in support of NuVenture and its expanding family of MGA businesses. Keeping up with key industry trends and market drivers is important, so you can effectively position NuVenture and its MGAs in your work.

Being hands-on, creative, and organized are essential characteristics for this role. You will help to launch new MGA brands, manage websites and digital assets for the family of companies, produce marketing collateral, and organize attendance at industry events. In support of brand recognition and awareness objectives, you will work with internal and external partners to craft market-facing messaging across various digital/social and traditional marketing channels. You will also develop basic content for internal communications, including between NuVenture and its strategic partners.

Essential Skills and Experience

  •  5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, content generation, and event management in an insurance environment— with a focus on establishing value propositions for, and connections with, business audiences
  •  Strong writing and communications skills
  • Hands-on proficiency in social media/website and presentation tools including:
  • Skilled in LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook postings and engagement strategy
  • Good knowledge of WordPress content management for website page updates
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) techniques
  • Knowledgeable in Google Analytics to monitor and enhance website content
  • Competent in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel applications
  • Basic video creation/editing and photography knowledge a plus
  • Marketing project management aptitude to oversee multiple assignments, deadlines, and constituents in the process of developing and effectively positioning diverse content for business personas and their markets
  • General insurance industry knowledge preferred
