What you’ll do
At the Charities Aid Foundation, every one of us contributes to our impact and as our Content Management Executive you too will play an integral part in what we do.
You’ll help us build the capacity of our Content Team to deliver compelling, purpose-driven content across our channels. This includes helping us craft, optimise and manage our content. So, it resonates with target audiences, drives engagement, and supports our organisational goals.
As Content Management Executive, you’ll work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams, including marketers, researchers, writers, designers and developers to ensure a seamless content experience for our audiences. Crucially, you’ll help us develop and embed processes and guidelines to support the management and production of high-quality, user-focused content across our organisation.
As our Content Management Executive, you will:
- Support the Head of Content to develop and execute content strategies, evaluating their impact and progress to ensure organisational objectives and user needs are being met.
- Help to evolve, implement and champion content and accessibility guidelines, style guides, and governance processes to deliver brand and editorial consistency, and compliance across channels and platforms. This includes strengthening our processes to produce and manage content, such as overseeing content audits and implementing a continuous content maintenance plan.
- Work with our Digital Experience Manager to help drive the strategic development of the CAF website, ensuring content and functionality aligns with the latest usability principles and provides an excellent and accessible customer experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues, as well as external partners, including freelancers and agencies, agencies, to translate user needs into compelling stories and successful customer journeys.
- Based on performance and insight, iterate content and lead content critique sessions and retrospectives to promote best practice and evolve approaches to improve user engagement, SEO rankings and conversion rates.
- Evaluate and report on the performance of our content, using analytics, stakeholder feedback, in-house research, testing and other data.
Who you’ll be
This role is for you if you have experience of working in a Content Management Executive role in the social impact sector, or have relevant transferable skills and are keen to make a difference to society.
We are looking for:
- Experience working as a Content Management Executive, or in a similar role, developing and maintaining best-practice content management processes and systems.
- Excellent writing skills and a creative mindset, with the ability to develop innovative solutions, manage multiple deadlines and communicate complex concepts in an engaging and accessible way.
- The ability to lead on web content creation, supporting and advising multiple authors, contributors, and subject matter experts.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and respond constructively and agilely to feedback.
- A strong understanding of digital marketing channels, SEO principles, and the use of data and metrics to analyse our performance across platforms, inform content decisions, and improve performance.
- Knowledge of the charitable, social impact or philanthropy sector, and the challenges and opportunities facing donors, charities and non-profits.
- A commitment to CAF’s mission and values.
