Our Account Manager Role:
Reporting to the Account Director, the Account Manager's tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Developing an excellent understanding of the value of Audience services, and combining these with meetings and events industry best practices to bring meaningful change for our clients.
Working with the Account Director, contributing to the client account strategy and taking responsibility, to ensure both account retention and growth.
Leading the client project teams, providing a clear brief, motivation, and focus. Using a hands-on management style, working closely with them to ensure they understand and proactively deliver on the project brief.
Ensuring projects are delivered within budget, acting as the day-to-day escalation point for queries.
Ensuring project learnings are captured and carried forward to future projects. Building strong relationships, mutual trust and respect, with clients.
Building a deep understanding of clients, their organisation, internal audiences, and industry communication needs, challenges, and objectives.
Leading proposal development and contributing to RFPs when required.
Proven Snr Account Executive / Jnr Account Manager experienced in the world of internal communications and/or event marketing.
Experience working with large corporate clients within a marketing communications agency environment.
Ideal sector experience – B2B, innovation, science and technology sectors’ lead experience – Life sciences and pharmaceutical experience preferable but not critical.
Have managed and delivered omni-channel communications projects from end to end, with projects including elements of strategy, creative, content development, production and digital.
The ability to assist clients in understanding and defining objectives from an audience perspective.
Excellent problem-solving skills, able to come up with solutions and overcome obstacles.
A can-do attitude, with strong collaboration and leadership skills.
Clear and confident project management, financial management and decision-making skills.
Strong at presenting and articulating ideas.
