This job is no longer accepting applications.

We’re looking for an experienced consumer marketer who can help us level up all aspects of our comms. You’ll work closest with the Co-founder, Designer and Community Manager.

We send around three million emails a month and get millions of hits to our site. We need someone to take ownership of these channels. You might spend your time getting feedback from creators, A/B testing page copy variants and finding the best social proof to showcase.

Our content is mainly product announcements and featuring creators, but we could do so much more to help fledgling creators find their way. We need someone to create video and written content that helps to inspire and motivate creators to succeed on the platform.

You could also get involved with lots of other areas like paid search, brand development and influencer engagement.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be an incredible writer who can adapt to speak the language of creators in a fun and friendly tone.

You’ll have a demonstrable body of work showing projects you’ve owned start to finish.

You’ve got technical skills to measure the impact of what you do. You’ll have experience with marketing analytics packages.

You’re more of a doer than a talker. We are action-oriented and have a lot to do so we need people who will pick things up and run with them to completion.

You’ve worked in a startup or consumer tech environment before or have created something meaningful on your own. We’ve found people from really big companies haven’t adapted as well to the startup environment in the past.

Extra Credit

These aren’t essential, but they’re definitely worth telling us about!

  • You’re a creator of some kind yourself
  • You’ve got some extra technical skills like simple HTML/CSS editing
  • You can design things that look high quality

Work remotely almost all of the time. Occasional visits to the Cambridge office can be useful, but it’s up to you where you spend most of your days working. If you want to work from a co-working space, we’ll cover that too.

Flexible work hours. A few meetings per week, but otherwise work when and where you’re most productive.

Competitive compensation. This role has a basic salary of £28k - £38k depending on demonstrable experience.

Bonuses. Get regular bonuses for significant contributions and when the company does well.

Own a Slice of Ko-fi. Earn share options after 6 months.

Training Budget. We will fund relevant training to help you be better at what you do.

Your Work Will be Seen By Millions. Do the best work of your life and have it seen by tens of thousands of creators and millions of supporters.

Choose Your Own Kit. Pick the tools you need to do great work.

Paid Leave. 25 days + National Holidays paid time off.

How to Apply

Does this role sound like a good fit?

Step 1. Email with the role you’re applying for and your favourite emoji in the subject line. Please include links to recent work and relevant experience, your CV and something interesting you’ve noticed about Ko-fi.

Step 2. We will reply back within a week to invite you to an informal intro video chat where you’ll meet one of the founders, talk about the role, your background, aspirations and projects you’ve worked on.
